Privacy Policy

We collect and keep only what’s needed to run BitVPS. We don’t log IPs, we don’t run analytics, and we keep your data as short-lived as possible.

What we collect (minimal)

Email for magic links, accountless access, and service updates.
Order & server details (plan, region, OS, server IDs, billing type) to provision and operate your VPS.
Payment metadata (amount, currency, invoice/subscription IDs, status) from Stripe. We never store card numbers.
Security signals: We do not log or store IP addresses. IPs are used only ephemerally for rate limiting and abuse prevention, then discarded.

What we do not collect

No IP logs (full or partial).
No third-party analytics or tracking beacons.
No card data (Stripe handles it).
No customer-identifying data sent to any third party beyond payment processing.

How we use data

Provisioning and operating your servers.
Payment processing and receipts.
Security, fraud, and abuse prevention without IP logging (IP is only used ephemerally).
Support and operational notifications.

Cookies and storage

Auth/magic-link cookies for secure access.
Theme preference stored locally in your browser.
No advertising or analytics cookies.

Sharing

We share data only with Stripe for payment processing. We do not sell or share data for advertising.

Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for operations, billing, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. We do not log or retain IP addresses.

Your choices

Request accountless access via magic links.
Delete your servers at any time from the dashboard.
Request deletion of your data where legally permissible.
Clear theme preference in local storage; auth cookies are required for secure access.
